If you have a group of 10 or more and you'd like to enjoy one of our scheduled trips call us. Make a reservation and take advantage of our special group rates. Round up the gang and join us. Plan a picnic in our yard under the awning, or dine together at one of the fine local restaurants before or after your cruise.

It's easy to arrange, great fun,informational, and yes even educational, for all ages from youth groups to senior assocations. School groups may also visit the neighboring Essex Shipbuilding Museum for hands on demonstrations and instruction.

When you'd prefer exclusive use of the Essex River Queen I, II, or both vessels for up to 100 passengers, with flexibility regarding when you depart, the length of your trip, activities involved, meals, liquor service and such, then you're interested in a private charter. Private charters come in all sizes and shapes from basic charter of the vessel to gala company outings with New England clambake, games, gifts, full beverage service and all the trimmings, on board, dockside or on a secluded beach. Some other activities well served by charters include: weddings and rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, surprise parties, reunions,association meetings, special events, and memorials at sea.

Our spacious seating, full liquor service, iPod compatible Bose sound system and restroom onboard ensure your maximum comfort and enjoyment. Decorate the vessel if you wish. We can provide, chairs, tables, volleyball net, gear and activities to round out your outing. We accomodate wheel chairs and our friendly staff will gladly assist you. Busses are welcome and we offer plenty of free parking for all.

Getting out on the water always draws a crowd. The sheltered waters, beautiful scenery,secluded beaches and sandbars of the river make a great setting for almost any type of event.
