The view is as spectacular as ever, and we've grown, since our founding in 1992, and now offer a second, larger, more comfortable Essex River Queen II, with a 70 person capacity. We also changed our schedule and added new special cruises to better accommodate you.

Located in the village of Essex, Massachusetts, one of the four communities that comprise Cape Ann, along with Gloucester, Rockport and Manchester by the Sea. We're only a forty-five minute drive north of Boston and easily accessible from almost everywhere. Surrounded by fine restaurants, antique shops, working museums and cultural attractions, we offer you an opportunity to escape to the unspoiled natural beauty of the Essex River. Discover the intriguing scenic salt marshes, unique scenery, abundant wildlife, engaging history and lore of the area.

May to October we offer regularly scheduled one and a half hour fully narrated cruises, seven days a week at various times. Sundays we offer special two hour morning cruises with complimentary coffee and homemade muffins departing at 10:30 AM with other cruises throughout the day. If you're looking for an enjoyable group outing, we offer a variety of options for all ages, and types. Bring them on one of our scheduled trips, or charter either of our boats for your exclusive use. Include a New England Tidal Beachbake, our signature version of the clambake, or other catering to suit your tastes and make it an event.
