Just got off the boat? The fun doesn’t have to stop there.
We have a few favorite places to keep the day going, whether you want to eat, get some exercise, or simply enjoy a little more of the Essex charm.
Where to Eat:
C.K. Pearl
Right on the water with amazing views and even better food. Great for a cocktail and some oysters if you’re feeling fancy, or just want to keep the coastal vibes rolling.

Shea’s Riverside
You can’t get much closer to the dock than this one. Super chill, good seafood, and a cozy outdoor setup that hits the spot after a cruise.

Honeycomb
Light, fresh, and delicious. Grab a sandwich, iced coffee, or one of their super delicious pastries. It's quick, easy, and perfect if you’re on the move.

The Farm Bar & Grille (Manchester)
Okay, not technically in Essex, but worth the short drive. They have a big patio, laid-back energy, and good comfort food.
Things to Do:
SUP Yoga on the River
If you're still in that calm mindset from the cruise, keep it going with a paddle board yoga class. It’s fun, peaceful, and a great way to stretch out and keep the body moving.

Healthy Treats & Local Finds
Stop by Main Street Market or Cocoa Plum for something fresh, a juice, some snacks, local goodies. The kind of stuff that makes you feel good and will make you remember Essex in the best way.
The Antique Shops
Essex is known for its antiques. Even if you’re just window shopping, there’s always something cool to see. Check out Howard’s Flying Dragon or just stroll along Main Street, always fun too find some seasonal favorites.

Sunset at Conomo Point
End the day with a walk or dip at Conomo. It’s quiet, beautiful, and a local favorite for a reason.

We love showing you the river, but we also love everything else Essex has to offer. Hope you enjoy the town as much as we do!
