Fall is here with all its glory! Harvest time in New England is hard to beat. I think we can speak for everyone when we say we are excited for crisp weather and fall activities. As New Englanders, we are lucky to be just a short drive away from so many beautiful farms that satisfy all your Fall fun cravings and check list of family fun! This includes apple picking, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and last but not least, donuts!

Here are our top local farm picks for food and fun for this fall season;

Russell Orchards is a family owned and operated 120 acre fruit farm in Ipswich, MA. This festive farm represents your quientessital fall farm! From apple picking to tasting their apple cider donuts, you won't be disapointed.

Marini Farm is located right in Ipswich and has everything from fresh seasonal produce to Hayrides. Stop by their farm stand to pick up a dozen of their warm cider donuts made fresh on site. Check out their event calendar to see all the fall fun they have this season.

If you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth Brooksby Farm is the place to go! They have famous cider donuts, muffins, monkey bread, whoopie pies, and more! All made by local bakers. Aside from all their sweet treats, they also have a wide assortment of fresh produce and fall activities for the whole family.

Cider Hill (Located in Amesbury) is a bit of a drive from Essex but 100% worth it! The 145 Acre farm has endless activities, including; hayrides, apple picking, a corn maze, food trucks, barnyard petting zoo, and much more! And did I mention they have some of the best cider donuts in the area..all made right in front of your eyes as fresh as can be!
