Thanks for a Great Year!

We want to start off by giving a huge THANK YOU to our loyal customers and fantastic staff who made this season so fun! We are so happy that we were operating back at full capacity this season after the crazy year we had. We had a spectacular summer and fall season on our public cruises, specialty cruises, and private charters! We are already counting down the days until next season, so while we wait, let's recap all the fun from this year!

Starting with the opening weekend we knew this season was going to be great! On the water, we were able to see so much of Essex's beautiful wildlife, including many seal sightings! In June, we started up our specialty cruises with our National Rosé Day Cruise, where we enjoyed some delicious wine and appetizers along the river. We also caught so many beautiful sunsets on our Saturday Sundown Cruises that ran from June to September! Our Father's Day cruise was a big hit this year! We enjoyed the sun and cruised by Crane Beach, Hog Island, and Essex bay.

July was kicked off with our Chowda and Brews Cruises, where we served locally made chowder and supported various small MA breweries. Although the fourth of July weekend was not quite the weather we wished for, we still made the most of it! During our summer season, we hosted private charters ranging from corporate outings to family reunions.

As we moved into our fall season, we were able to startup up our fall foliage and cider donut cruises, which gave a new perspective to fall. Our passengers enjoyed beautiful views of a New England fall while enjoying local cider donuts from Russel Orchard! We also took some Boston University students who took part in an Eelgrass restoration project out on one of our vessels! Eelgrass helps preserve and maintain our beautiful river, so this was important work!

We hope you had as much fun as us this year! Thank you for your continued support. Now, please excuse us while we start planning for next season…!
